Residence a Durham Heritage Coast

“Very noisy room. I couldn't get to sleep. Ask to move at 1230am to quiet room but they couldn't move us. Breakfast poor too. Noise of traffic, police cars and drunken people.”

“The hotel is just in front of the beach, which is good. Unfortunately the hotel is old, the rooms and bathrooms need to be refreshed. I was there in the beginning of June, and the room was humid and I freezed all night long. Not a pleaseant stay.”

“If you are looking for a safe secure location close to all major amenities. This place is ideal very clean and the staff are very friendly indeed, parking right outside so you don't have to walk far to get to your vehicle. Will definitely be booking another stay in the near future.”

“What a gem! Could not fault a thing. Staff amazing, Charlotte was amazing and showed us the history and about the local area, she looked after us at the bar too. Jess and Geoff were really helping and welcoming. Great location, great hotel, loved room 6. Fantastic breakfast too. Will definitely come back and recommend to others xx”
