“Best place to relax by the pool and getaway from the hustle and bustle. Rooms are usually fantastic, but this time around they put us in a room right next to the elevator. Not the best, and the smell of cigarette drowned the room, never had that problem before. It made it difficult to sleep. Other than that, my stay was wonderful. Staff was excellent.”

After a long drive from Phoenix, we especially appreciated the hotel's convenient location right off of Interstate 8. While it was a bit of a drive to reach Pacific Beach, Mission Beach, and Miramar National Center during the day, the quiet and comfort of the Ayres Lodge was well worth it.
