“We stayed here on May 31, 2026.The place had just been remodeled. Everything seemed to be brand new. The bed was comfortable and the place was very clean. Check-in was simple. We were very pleased with everything.”

“What started as an overnight stopover ended up being a very enjoyable 5 day stay. The room we chose, a pet friendly one, had been completely remodeled, all modernized and immaculate. The grounds are well kept and plenty of room to walk our dog. The staff was courteous and pleasant and they have a very nice breakfast. “Great location, very clean and easy experience.”

“Could I give less than zero stars? We did not receive the code for a/the-room at all, until hours after I called the owners number and left a message as the motel does not have a staff or an office! After a hour sitting in the parking lot trying to get help, we left. Wish it would be listed on the Expedia site that the motel is not manned at all. I also texted the owner with no reply. Called Expedia customer service.. what a joke. All they wanted us to do was sign up for a gift card...

“It looked like someone had stayed there and it was not cleaned before our arrival. There were all sorts of home improvement tools on porch. Totally fine with all of that being there, just thought I was sting in a daily weekly rental. Absolutely loved the shower!”

“For the price we paid this location was fantastic! Clean rooms and property , close to all the dining and attractions. Also very quiet. Pool was nice but we didn’t use.”

“If you decide to save $20 or so, it is not worth it. It was uncomfortable to stay in this hotel(motel). It is outdated with rusty shower, mold in some areas of the bathroom, insufficient light, and no breakfast. The staff was very nice and accommodating though.”

“It’s in downtown, easy stroll from the boat dock, bike rental place right around the corner. Breakfast wasn’t your ordinary “continental “ breakfast. There are 2 shared bathrooms on the 2nd floor and never even saw anyone using or waited for one. Not a problem at all which honestly was our biggest concern. Terrific staff, and location was perfect”

“The sink faucet was leaking and water spilling , need to cover with towel. Bedsheets are not clean, smells like sweating.”

“The hotel is in a good location but the overall property is run down and needs fixing up. The rooms were ok but the window was all glazed over and when I opened it the track and screen were very dirty. I will not return since there are many better options in the area.”

“I stayed for 3 nights and the property was very clean and within walking distance to many sites and local shops near the lakes. The contiental breakfast was adequate for my needs and room was very clean and staff including housekeeping was performed well! I just wish that the weather would have been better during my visit during the latter part of May.”
