“The property was exactly as promised!! The location on Route 151 is ideal for finding hikes, breweries and wineries. Easy to check into and love the common room with access to water, ice and coffee. This is our second time staying there and it won’t be our last! ”

“Flies in the breakfast area. So didn't eat breakfast. The room didn't look clean either and we were assigned room in the basement. Morning staff were good but have nothing to say about the night staff.”

“The room was clean, and the AC/heat worked. The shower had plenty of hot water & pressure, but the tub and sink did not drain well. Bathroom needs a do-over. Breakfast was terrible. The toaster had no return tray or mechanism, so the toast fell on the counter at the back. No eggs, no tea, food stale, sausage gray from days before.”

“The room was clean and the bathroom was very nice, particularly the shower. The decor of the suite overall was a bit disappointing; pretty sparse, not very inviting.”

“This property is actually a very run down motel. The three story facility does not even have an elevator! When we found this out we asked for a first floor room only to find that the room was actually UNDERGROUND up to the window sill and faced directly on to the parking lot (i.e lined up with the car exhaust pipes!) The only positive note was the courtesy shown by the staff member at the reception desk. We did not spend the night there.”

“The clerk burped loudly and didn’t even say excuse me. He was very short with me especially when I couldn’t hear him. He mumbled. ”

“The cabin was very clean. The area is nice and quiet. Short drives to local groceries, restaurants, shopping and outdoor activities andactivited”

“Breakfast was hot and fresh items, good juice options. Waffle machine with regular and cinnamon batter to make your own. sausage links and patties. Scramble eggs. White and wheat bread slices, bagels, danish and English muffins. 3 types of cereal, raison bran, cherios and colorerd cherios, skim and 2 % milk, banana and apples. peanut butter and jelly and butter packs. 24 hour coffee machine, sugar and other alternatives, hot cocoa packs, hazel nut and French van creamer, half and half.”

“The property is a beautiful old home from 1800's. The grounds are well kept and the bathrooms are upgraded beautifully. There are fire pits for cooler weather. It was off season so the pool and hot tubs were not available. The game room is very fun and the parlor had some snacks and drinks.”

“A great new hotel for those visiting UVA. While not in the heart of the Corner, it’s still close to Grounds. The Perch, the rooftop bar, was by far our favorite! ”
