Hotel a Forest Acres

“The outside and surroundings of the property were not well kept. There was trash outside, the steps looked like it hasn't been cleaned in 5 years. When I opened the room door it smelled like cigarettes and looked deplorable. Spoke to reception to switch room; however, there wasn't any availability. Was offered a refund and found a different hotel to stay at.”

“Room smelled of cigarette smoke. Cigarette burn on comforter and bath tub. TV didnt work. Told receptionist who said she would call me back, but never did. 😒”

“Everyone that we came in contact with was awesome. Our room , the pool and the breafast was great. The location is five min. To our family so we will definitely be making this our go to when we are in columbia ,south carolina.”

“We decided to stay at the hotel,, was close to Airport , It was very close to Fort Jackson Army Base.. Where we would attending my son’s army graduation . Great location,,, good price. The hotel is well attended to. , smell so fresh as soon as you walk in . The girl at the front desk was professional, courtesy, and helpful. The room as clean and spacious. Big bathroom as well.The room stayed cool on these hot summer days . The complementary breakfast was good. Over all highly recommend.”

“From u exit the elevator the place smells bad the hallway the rooms..will never go back and I do not recommend..parking is good”

“Due to families having ball Tournaments, with a respect to the kids, we were unable to even get near the pool. Kids were having a great time, but they were the only ones. Then parents pulled out a grill n vehicles across from the pool and prepared dinner. You could not drive through. I love everything about family, but this was truly overwhelming. Staff was very supportive and I am thankful for that. Colleen Burns McGrath”

“This hotel was so refreshing and clean after having some truly horrible experiences with hotels over the years. I went out of my comfort zone which is marriott hotels, and tried this one. I was beyond pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and esthetic of this hotel and can't wait to stay at another in the future! Adios marriott, you've done us wrong over the years! Hello ihg!”
