“The quality inn & suites in Lufkin Texas is poorly managed and not properly cleaned up to the standards of a good hotel. I stayed recently on may 18th 2026 and found ticks in the room by the shower and when brought up they tried to just kill it and not do anything about it..watch where you book..sometimes cheaper isn’t better.”

“The walls looked freshly painted in the room. The carpet in the halls was dirty and musty smelling. It was okay to spend the night. It said they had breakfast but didn’t See anything there.”

“There is nothing good to say about this property. There were prostitutes in the parking lot; loud noises throughout hall; there were cobwebs in the corners of the room; the sheets were stained and the mattress was horrible; and there were police showing up at 5 am with sirens & lights shining in my room. They were there for the room above me. Absolutely no rest all night.”

Second room also had a very odd smell (like maple syrup) but was not disgusting like the first. When showering, we noticed mold on ceiling (took pics). Breakfast next morning was luke-warm to cold. “It was great overall, had a great time. The only thing that wasn't working was the ice maker in the fridge but we just got a bag of ice. One other thing was you should put at least some steak knifes. Overall, it was great! Thank you.”
