“Very friendly and welcoming staff. This is a five hundred year old building so don't expect a Premier inn with nice even floors and shiny paintwork, however if you want a pub hotel with real character this place is a gem. Every member of staff was great and couldn't do enough to make the stay perfect. Unfortunately we didn't get to have a meal there but the breakfast is absolutely worth getting up for. We will be back. ”

“The staff and the food were excellent and without fault. The rooms are similar to other Best Western hotels I've stayed in, in so much as they are a little dated, however the venue was quiet and I had a good nights sleep.”

“Das Zimmer wird nicht standardmäßig jeden Tag gereinigt, nur nach Anfrage bei der Rezeption, das gilt auch für den Handtuchwechsel. Frühstücksauswahl sehr gering - Eier, Speck, Bohnen, Brot, Joghurt und etwas Obst, das wars. Service war sehr gut. Lage fanden wir auch top. Alles in allem vier von fünf Sternen und für den Preis absolut okay. ”

“The room itself was nice and comfortable, with good amenities and a pleasant overall setup. However, cleanliness was a major issue during my stay. There was dust visible in multiple areas, which made the room feel poorly maintained and not properly cleaned before arrival. On a positive note, the staff were polite and friendly when approached. Unfortunately, despite informing them about the cleanliness concerns, no action was taken to resolve the issue, which was disappointing. Overall, while...
