The hotel has some charm and the rooms are very basic. The bed was pretty firm which was not a problem for us but if you don’t like firm beds this is not the place for you. “The room was perfect—door to deck with a gorgeous view of the river. Clean room, staff was very accommodating. It’s clear how much has gone into preserving its character.”

“The room was tired and not very clean. The bathroom had hair in the tub and grunge along the caulk as did the floor. The sink top and walls of the tub were an unfortunate choice of material that had red streaks on a beige surface reminding one of smeared blood. Altogether it felt like if the room was fully exposed to sunlight it would burst into flames.”
