Hotel vicino a Gregg House Museum - Chicago

“Met a few other families for our time in Chicago, would not say this was good for having smaller children. Nice property, had good pools and grounds, but, would not allow food not purchased at the hotel outside or at the pool…and if you have small kids and picky eaters this was not good. We had a day we hung around with the other families and wanted to have pizza in a common area but were told we could not, so ended up cramped in one families room”

“Everything was good. It wasn’t any live bugs but dead ants left on top of the air conditioning unit. The corners of closet and bathroom could be more clean but it was a good stay”

“This was the worse experience I ever had I don’t know how they operate my key card didn’t operate I was locked out my room two days in a row and the help line didn’t help they kept lying saying someone would come help they came until the concierges work time so I will never stay at this hotel again”

“There were no pillowcases on the pillows in the room. The door had a draft. The floors in my room was unacceptable and I almost tripped and fell. The main lobby smelled like mold. There’s a lot of of people hanging out around the rooms and back end of the place probably regular residents. The outside garbages were overflowing. Definitely not worth staying there again. IT’S A DUMP!”

“Break fast is below normal, cupcakes and tea/coffee. Room sofa beds are terrible . Family staying there try to get proper beds rather than sofa to sleep. Its budget friendly. Overall its good”

“The room smelled terrible (old smoke and body odor), there was no shampoo, the toilet seat slid off when you sat on it, and the snack shelf for purchase was nearly empty. And the fire alarm went off at 0300 and no one could turn it off. They at least refunded my unpleasant stay.”

“There’s a lot to like about this property. It’s in a very nice suburb with lots of meal choices within a few miles, but without the traffic of driving into the city. Easy access to the interstates. Lots of free parking. Staff was amazing, always friendly and helpful. Other reviews have disagreed, but we thought the hotel was clean and well-maintained. The pool was under renovation but this was made clear before we booked the room. Free breakfast was fresh and plentiful with more choices than...
