“Room was excellent - great staff”

“My only complaint about this hotel is trying to find it. Due to property ownership signage is abysmal and it is very difficult to find even with GPS. ”

“Very pleased with my stay with the exception of being woken up at 4am by what sounded like a vacuum and house keeping preparing a room. I did call the front desk and they had it cease immediately.”

“Everyone should experience several nights at The Altland House. It's truly a special place. Our room was an "interior" room and we heard no traffic. Real for keys!! The brewery in the basement and the restaurant on the main level were superb. ”

“Another good stay at the inn. Breakfast wa good as well as parking. Room was clean as well as lobby. Location is central to all of the attractions.”

“Our two night stay was better than average. Room had a very slight smell of smoke, but was tolerable. It was ready early and very clean. Beds were comfy. Surprised that Breakfast was only continental, what they had was limited, yet we all found something to eat. Front staff was very attentive. First night the pool was a bit cloudy so we chose to enjoy the hot tub only. Second night the pool was inviting and very warm. Would go back to this hotel.”

“Ok renovations made the feel and environment look inviting staff was pleasant breakfast was great (hot food) Let’s talk about the bed eh!!! Our room mattress was substandard (not awful) but much to be desired. Walls of our room were paper thin we heard every peep from room on either side and the family above felt like they were coming thru the ceiling (not the family’s fault they weren’t doing jumping jacks or running around) Toilet ran all night handle kept getting stuck Location was perfect...

“Personale svogliato. Solo al check-in con due operatori ho atteso 20 minuti perchè Lei doveva “sistemare delle carte” e lui non era disponibile. Alla colazione, 15 minuti di attesa per sedersi, entriamo e la sala era quasi vuota. Ho chiesto da bere, me ne sono andato a prendere in cucina. Ho chiesto del latte caldo per i bambini, sono andato a scaldarlo al microonde vicino alla reception. Tutto questo per la modica cifra di 17 $ a persona. Vergognosi. ”

“Charming Civil War era hotel in fantastic historic location. Clean with helpful staff. The mini split did not cool the room adequately, but the windows open and there was a ceiling fan!”

“We didnt eat or drink at the bar restaurant there, but the cabin and the property was nice, peaceful and relaxing. Staff were all very nice and professional. Highly recommend!”
