Hotel a Harkness

“This place is a maze of hallways you can get lost easily. Breakfast was average and not a stand out since other hotels offer the same. Beats paying $30-40 eating breakfast out somewhere. Bathroom is small. Room is average. With all that said i will stay again since it's one of the better hotels in the area.”

“Great place”

“This hotel was so fun for my 8 year old who loved the arcade and waterslides. The room keys often stopped working for all 4 adults on the trip. We had to keep going to the main desk. They just need to update the system I think. We wish they offered housekeeping services during our 2 night stay. Bath tub and bathroom door not the cleanest. This hotel could use a bit of extra love (updating and deep clean). Price was good ”

“Staff was helpful and nice, but I had to wait about 10mins to check-in as no one was at the desk at 10pm. Room was big but felt old and not well maintained. We had holes in our blanket, an awkwardly placed toilet with a weak flush, a shower with slides doors that almost came off, and noise from the plastic fitter of the air conditioning that kept smacking in the night from wind. Overall, we didn’t find any dirt or grime, but the property felt extremely dated and fragile in spots.”

“Room was clean and comfy. It would have been better if there was a microwave in the room and parking lot could use some love. Location is convenient. Really liked the finger ID lock, Nice to not have to worry about a key. All in all for the price our stay was great!”

“Sadly the pool area needed a good renovation, the hot tub brought in a fair amount of boiling water, which you could feel with your legs, and the shower had little pressure and heat. Breakfast was good but would of benefited from some fruits. 🍉 Sadly, not worth the price.”

“Price are good really cheap , the brake feast as good option compared to others even if it’s a light one. Place needs to be updated !”

“Stayed for UVM graduation weekend. The staff at check in were very friendly and accommodating. Prices are always high on these types of weekends and didn’t have high expectations. The ice maker in my fridge wasn’t working and when I asked a housekeeper about it, they sent some right up. So it’s a bit dated, but the room was very clean and spacious. I didn’t need the kitchenette, but it was perfect if you did.”

“Clean rooms”

“I liked cleanliness and location very much. Room was standard. The AC was extremely loud and sounded like an old cranking train engine, as if it was rusty and wanted to break down. Which it finally did on my second night. I woke up to 83 degrees F in the room and despite trying to navigate the touch pad of AC controls nothing happened. Since I was leaving that day I didn’t care all that much but still. Not so great. I’d say it was an ok stay.”

“Nobody told me that there is a huge construction going on”

“We have stayed here many times in the past. It is reliable, convenient, clean and quiet at night. We have also once had to travel with our dog and it has pet friendly rooms that were great!”
