Hotel a Hartburn

“The place is an ancient inn in a wonderful spot of the countryside. Perfect for trips along Hadrian's wall or nice walks in the fields. No restaurants in the area except the inn's one, where it's possibile to eat until 8.30 pm. Excellent beer until late. The toilet area is really tiny, but the rooms are lovely.”

“personale gentile, ambienti particolarmente puliti, ottima qualità e varietà della colazione, l'hotel ha piscina e zone ricretaive per bambini, nei dintorni c'è una zona tranquilla, nelle vicinaze c'è un centro commerciale enun supermarcato h24, sempre nelle vicinanze c'è la stazione del treno che consente di raggiungere il centro e i luoghi da visitare con un biglietto giornaliero. sicuramente ideale per famiglie in vacanza con bambini e in macchina. l'unica cosa che non ho utilizzato è stato...

“This is a little gem of an inn. The drive along the way is picturesque and Otterburn itself is darling. Our host for the Old Post Office was very accommodating. We arrived after the normal check-in time and she was very welcoming. Our room was immaculate and our shower had lots of hot water. Breakfast was excellent, including our coffees (flat white and vanilla latte). We also enjoyed the back patio area with plenty of seating. Definitely recommend this inn!”

“Basic hotel, but clean room and comfortable bed. Staff really friendly and helpful. Stay included breakfast, but limited really to takeaway style bags in which to take your choices to your room, or sit at small tables in reception. Would probably give it a miss if staying again. Location is in the middle of large industrial estate, so whilst its cheap, and ok just to put your head down for a night or two, it is limited in what it can offer to tourists.”

“It is such an unusual venue renovated by owners and a life’s achievement and still renovating- you have got to go to experience its uniqueness / great array of stuff for breakie and there is a Antique Centre run by Peters wife - a must!”

“An excellent place to stay if walking the Hadrian's Wall Path. Clean and tidy good value for money. The Staff were all very friendly and polite. Very tasty breakfast.”

“The meals were excellent both for quality and price, staff very helpful. The bed was comfortable however the windows did not close entirely. It was quite warm so not a major problem for us but the windows needed refurbishment so they be opened or closed easily. The electric shower was very weak. These issues were relatively minor given the pluses of staff, food and comfortable beds”
