“Very nicely situated in a quiet village area 3miles from the town centre. Large car park at the rear and easy access to a bus service outside. Clean pub and rooms of a reasonable quality. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Well priced.”

The bathroom was filthy with black mould marks and the Bathroom door was completely rotten. The walls were paper thin - I was kept awake until after midnight. “Fan in room was faulty and not usable. We were informed it would be replaced within an hour it was not. Room incredibly hot due to weather - unable to cool it. Basic hotel but was clean”

“Unfortunately this property has passed its heyday which is a shame as the potential is there. If you are looking for a relaxing break forget it as it is geared towards hen weekends/ spa breaks and multiple weddings. Property maintenance is sadly lacking everything looks tired and rundown. The drawer in our bedside cabinet would not close and the shower barely clung onto the wall. Suggest requesting a room somewhere quiet if there is such an area. “Great price for the stay. Came in June thought so our room was very hot. The ceiling fan didn’t work so the room was very hot. I brought this up at check out and they just said thanks. The breakfast was amazing and the team friendly. The spa looks great in places and tired in others. Car charger was an absolute bonus before my long trip home!”
