“Great place to stay. We have stayed twice this year”

“The location is off the beaten path and the hotel is an older hotel...however it has recently been updated so it was very clean with new beds, fresh paint and upgraded bathrooms. We upgraded to the biophoton room, Had a great sleep and felt very rested when we left. I would definitely stay here again. Only 13 miles from Galena and great shopping in Dubuque. My only comment, which is not negative but a warning, the hours are 9 am to 4 pm for the front desk. They sent a text asking what...

“The room was extremely clean, bed was comfortable, linens ok. Our extended family stayed in the same hotel, and we enjoyed using the pool area. The adjoining pizza restaurant was convenient, too. Parking and location were perfect. The front desk staff showed interest and concern for our comfort. Overall, a very good experience.”

“Nice spot for a quick weekend trip. Construction on a new building next door which took up much of the parking lot. However, staff was helpful and offered a shuttle to the casino. Strongly recommend Catfish Charlie’s for dinner nearby. ”
