“The property was located downtown. Convenient to restraunts and bars. Our room was ok, it was a little old and a little worn down. It was a non smoking room but smelt like smoke. For me personally I like to park my car and have access to it. Here you had no other option but to Valet and that not my jam.”

“We chose this hotel based on reviews. This stay was part of a special treat to my sons. We liked the location, the beds, the breakfast and the pool. Our low overall rating is attributed to the lack of AC or functioning window in the room and 3 nonfunctional pieces of gym equipment. The room was godawful hot and made for poor sleeping conditions.”

“We enjoyed a lovely stay at the Lafayette Hotel and Spa. The hotel and its grounds are truly lovely and their staff (shout out to Terrance at the front desk!) is amazing. Their onsite restaurant, The Park Bistro and Bar”, is fantastic as well. The food was very well prepared and beautifully presented. We look forward to returning to Lafayette Park Hotel on our next visit to the area. Thank you!”

“Abbiamo deciso di fermarci durante il viaggio in California nel paese di San Rafael per risparmiare una notte a San Francisco (visto i costi decisamente maggiori per la camera e il parcheggio auto), venivamo dallo Yosemite N.P. e abbiamo fatto un pò di costa nella zona di Point Reyes e nel tratto di fronte San Francisco per fare le foto al Golden Gate dalla Scenic Drive e al Golden Gate Bridge View Vista Point. “I’m thinking there was a kid in the room above my room and that kid was jumping around the entire time I was in my room. I notified the front desk but Nothing happened and the noise continued. I’m afraid I will be seeking other lodging options when I return to Oakland in a few weeks.”
