Hotel a Highland

“The outside of the hotel was fairly dirty. There were small pieces of trash and unknown wet spots all around. The staff was very friendly but that was about the only positive for this property. There was a strong smell of air freshener as soon as you got off the elevator and the room had a musty smell. The air conditioner made a whining noise every time it turned on and did not cool the room very well at all which made for a very uncomfortable sleep.”

The biggest issue was with the Expedia Platinum perks. We usually book VIP hotels for the benefits, but they weren’t really honored here. “Location was convenient. Front desk staff very nice! Housekeeping starts cleaning rooms at 8am so if you’re planning to sleep in, it’s difficult and even though our checkout wasn’t until 11am she was knocking on our door at 8am.”

“Best Western is a good budget friendly hotel. I loved that there was a desk and office chair, so I could get some work done. The staff were also helpful when I needed help.”
