“We love this hotel! We stay here every time we are in the area, sometimes for a week at a time. It is very clean and peaceful. The staff are so kind, patient and friendly. This is a great place to stay!”

“The Comfort Inn Shady Grove was very conveniently located, with restaurants within walking distance, along with access to the Metro bus and also close by the Metro Red line train. The hotel felt very safe, with overnight security. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hot breakfast was one of the best I've had in a moderate priced hotel. There was also free onsite parking in a well lite lot. This is definitely a good place to stay in the DC area, at a very reasonable price.”

“The rooms were clean, the staff was very friendly, and there were exact choices for breakfast and parking available.”

“Nice location and affordable, BUT upgrades are needed. Elevator buttons dont work properly. Bathroom needs to be re-grouted, stains on the couch. The underside of the blanket had old cigarette burns. Other than that. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.”

“Very clean premises, both the lobby area and my room. They did not offer continental breakfast which was disappointing but they did offer free coffee. Unfortunately, the coffee machine in the lobby was not working when I needed it the most - in the morning. They have an attached restaurant but it was Indian food, which I do not eat. There was a McDonald's and Red Lobster in walking distance to the hotel. I was awakened many times throughout the night by freight trains zooming by the hotel. ...

“The elevator was broken so guests had to use the stairs which is not easy with luggage. The key to our room didn’t work so I had to run down to the desk twice before staff finally came up and tried themselves to find it really wasn’t working like I said. We were put in a different room. We won’t be staying there again.”
