“Very nice hotel closed to the city Center of Hilo. The hotel is fully renewed and it embraces the spirit of Big Island and Hilo particularly, with respect to the planet and providing nice amenities for Yoga and meditation. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff very nice. I couldn’t ask for a better stay ”

“Struttura datata ma ok se non si hanno pretese. La vetrata che portava al poggiolo aveva bisogno di un bastone per esser chiusa in sicurezza. Clima non presente ma eravamo già stati avvisati..è bastato il ventilatore. Per gli stessi soldi credo si trovi di meglio.”

“Beside the gorgeous garden and an acceptable breakfast, the whole structure needs a major restoration. Broken windows, uneven floor, dust, rust just to name some of the issues”

“The location is excellent next to 3 beaches and on the waterfront with a spacious view there is a lovely Japanese garden adjacent to the hotel. The main problem is the valet parking is slow. They need to hire more parking attendants. We stayed for 3 nights and each time we waited 10-15 minutes in the car line to drop the car off for valet parking. There are two lanes in front of the hotel in the circular driveway. They could use one for people unloading luggage and the other for valet parking....

“Guesthouse was very much as shown: community spaces for bathrooms and cooking etc. and the location was great, very close to Akaka Falls yet outside of town enough to enjoy slowing down. Found great shaved ice at the Aloha General Store. We stayed in the king bed room, which was clean and mostly comfortable, but gets baked in the sun from sunrise. The room was very hot and could use a ceiling fan, the small one provided barely worked to cool the large room… and having the windows open meant...

“Hilo Town Inn is very clean and updated. We were very comfortable and Sam was very helpful and responsive. Would definitely recommend if visiting Hilo area. ”
