“To old room was smelling mold i have mold allergies and barely survived couldn't sleep had to leave as early as possible”

“I liked the welcoming, friendly, and helpful staff at check-in. The facility had three elevators, making it easy to get around, plus a large two-section arcade that the kids enjoyed and plenty of outdoor seating for guests to relax. The hotel has an on-site restaurant, but it was closed, and I wasn't sure if it ever opened during our stay, so we ate outside the resort. The water park was smaller than expected. There was no wave pool—just a small pool, a few tube slides, and attractions geared...

“Overall, I had a very nice and comfortable stay. Breakfast is good, but coffee is awful! The room is comfortable and clean, but marks on the wall/baseboard are not appealing along with rust spots in the shower. The chicken wings were delicious, and bar service on my last night was awesome! However, when I first arrived, the two ladies at the front desk were cold and distant. The service I received at the bar/ restaurant that night was a bit upsetting. They didn’t seem to know what they were...

“The room was BEAUTIFUL. It was 2 walls of windows overlooking the Catskills, it was perfect. The bed was comfortable and the pool was lovely. The room could have been cleaned better - there were wrappers on the floor and a lot of dust/hair in the bathroom. There also is not a continental breakfast and the cafe downstairs is very minimal on what they offer.”

“Staying at Bear Mountain Inn was amazing. Hessian Lake is beautiful. The park and trails are clean and hiking here is very good. We loved the Bear Mountain Zoo and all the exhibits. Staff here are very good. I highly recommend staying here. The rooms, decor, staff and ambiance are top notch. We will be back very soon!!”
