“The property is nestled in the Medina mountains in an 11 room resort and spa. The owners met with us each night sharing stories, laughs, wine and food. In the morning we hiked up the mountain trail to a cabin with a back deck that overlooked the hillside. If you want peace, quiet, no children and good old fashion conversation you will not find any better than Escondida Resort. The entire staff is humble, courteous and good people to share a cup of coffee or a laugh. I highly recommend this...

“We live in Camp Verde and travel to and through Hunt often but have never stayed at Pigeon Roost. After months of watching everything turn brown from the drought and watching our own large pond on our property get lower and lower this was absolute paradise!!
