Hotel a Indiana centro-orientale

“I arrived and was told my room had been sold, even though there were NO cars in the parking lot. The smell in the office was atrocious and the attendant was struggling to communicate with me, little English apparently. He seemed to be trying to sell me a different room but the looks and atmosphere of the place and his demeanor were so awful I told him I was not interested in a different room. He told me to go on the website and cancel, and when I did, he had marked me as a no show.”

“Very impressed with this hotel. Staff was always very friendly, hotel was so clean and well maintained (maybe recently renovated), and breakfast was delicious. Also a quiet environment for good quality sleep. Would definitely stay again.”

“Checked in after mid night. I booked a double queen room. Front staff initially not present, but showed up. He said another staff member overbooked those rooms, so he could only offer a king bed room. I had no options late at night, and cancellation policy so we took it. Not a huge deal in that case due to it being late and only 2 of us, but essentially Expedia reservation type was not honored by the staff. No credit card or DL needed at check in so it was fast. “Upon our arrival we were greeted by a sweet young woman who within minutes had found our reservation. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable.”

“The staff were incredibly nice. They went above and beyond to connect with me and my kiddo. We were traveling solo and she even gave me tips for staying safe with not sharing my room number out loud at the front desk. Very sweet! The eggs l had were a little iffy smelling but I have chickens at home so maybe I’m just not used to store bought eggs so I stayed away from those but the blueberry waffles were delicious. I would definitely come back. Thanks!”

“It was surrounded by 2 other motels close to nothing else. The parking lot was empty like all other parking lot. It was not in a big city. Then when we left this morning, there was a 5 dollar parking fee in Anderson IN???? That is the most obscure thing I have ever dealt with. I have stayed a lot of places Obviously I missed the fine print. I will definitely let others know.”

“There are several rat traps lining the hotel property. The pool was slimy and dirty. There was a long black hair on the toilet lid when we arrived. The hotel smells like cigarettes in many places and there are fragrance dispensers located in the elevator to mask the dirty, cigarette smell. The breakfast and coffee were subpar quality and we chose to eat elsewhere. The emergency plan was not posted in the room and you can see where it was torn down.
