We were able to take a boat ride to tour around the island and grad a little history and enjoy the stories. If you looking for a place to relax and renew... this is the place. ”

“This was a perfect getaway weekend! The lodge is in a remote area, which is so quiet. We enjoyed kayaking, going for a boat ride with the owner, Gary, and just walking around the village.Peggy stayed in touch with me throughout the time before our visit as well as during the visit even though she was not able to be there for the weekend. Debbie was our hostess and she was wonderful! The lodge is so unique and comfortable.”

“It needs a lot of maintenance, the chair in the room had mold all over it. The door was so hard to open that it was a huge force just to open it and close it.The hair dryer was about to catch on fire when I turned that on to dry my hair so couldn’t use that. The cold storage in lobby that was suppose to have water, drinks and other items to purchase was empty and when asked the front desk she said oh well our supplier never showed up. “Both the pool & the gym were closed. I would have stayed somewhere cheaper and more convenient if I'd have known.”

“My room was very clean and spacious. 1st floor room was a bit noisy. The blow dryer was sticky and felt pretty gross. I did mention this to front desk staff, so hopefully they will be cleaning those in a more regular basis. Comfortable bed, nice breakfast and lived that freshly brewed coffee is available at all times in the lobby. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay here again. Very convenient location on main highway and a short drive to downtown Cambridge.”
