“The host was very welcoming but I have to say the place was not in the best condition. The sofa had holes in the cushions and was not very comfortable to sit on. But the view was great and the bed was super comfy. We didn’t notice when booking that there is no elevator up to his third floor unit. Little bit of a hike with suitcases. The town of Folly did not have any non bar food restaurants in case you like us prefer healthier eating. ”

“This was a great place to stay! Beautiful views, the kayaks were much appreciated for exploring the marsh, and only 15 minutes into the French quarter of Charleston. Quiet and peaceful and clean. Highly recommended!”

“We discovered a live bed bug on the bed within hours of arrival (photo attached). For health and safety reasons, we vacated the property that night and could not continue our stay. Despite clear photo and video evidence, the host refused to provide a full refund, offering only a partial amount. I’m sharing this to make others aware of our experience.”
