“The staff was super friendly and spoke to us everyday! Lisa the day manager and Linda at night. Our 9lb dog enjoyed all the attention too. We enjoyed breakfast each morning and there was a variety each day, such as omelets, cheese eggs, sausage, muffins, biscuits and gravy, waffles, oatmeal, yogurt, and all so delicious. Even the coffee was good. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Highly recommend Hampton Inn in Murphy. ”

“Thoroughly enjoyed this property. It’s located within 35 minutes of any level hiking trail you would want to take on. It is also the perfect spot to come back to after punishing your body on those hikes for eating too much at the local establishments. We will definitely be back.”

“This little cabin was just what we needed. We traveled to the area for a family wedding and, while our schedule was erratic, we found the place a very pleasant respite and welcoming at all hours. You have to understand that rural Georgia is going to have some gravel accesses and obscure connectors but that is part of the appeal. If you use GPS, I would recommend Google or Apple Maps as WAZE seems to think it is okay for automobiles to access the Appalachian Trail.”

“This was the second time we have stayed at the Carriage house. It was lovely as ever. The bird watching was fantastic and watching the deer Graze while drinking our coffee was an extra treat. We enjoyed using the fire pit at night. I would highly recommend.”
