Guest house a Kansas nordorientale

“I loved everything about my stay here--the calm, the quiet, the airy/open space, the vicinity to area pastures/prairie grasses & flowers, the ease-of-parking, the air-conditioning, and the convenient location (a few miles to downtown Wamego, and a few more to downtown Manhattan). Also lots of birdsong. Thank you! I hope to be back.”

“This place is awesome! My wife and I both like the architecture and design of this house. The attention to detail is everywhere you look! The added bonus of hearing the gentle sound of a train in the distance just added to the ambience and feel of that time period when this house was first built. It was very charming and we can’t wait to visit again!”

“This b&b is indeed a mansion, and a true Victorian beauty, lovingly restored and fully furnished with beautiful antiques and art. Our room was gorgeous, very spacious and extremely comfortable; we wish we could have stayed longer! Our host was extremely helpful and gracious, and we appreciated the variety of food on offer for breakfast and snacks. We will certainly make a point of staying there again should we return to the area, and we highly recommend this property to anyone who appreciates...

“It is a very cool property, but no laundry bag in the room, no tissues, very loud in the hallway with other guests and the bed cream and groaned every time we moved. Kept us up a lot. Again neat place, cool rooms but not enough to come back.”

“Room was much smaller than appeared in pictures .”

“Property is well worn but the comfort and coziness more than makes up for any deficiencies. It was quiet and extremely comfortable”
