“We have stayed at the Bluemont over the last 5 years at least once or twice a year. They have new management that started in January. On the website, it said free breakfast included, which wasn’t accurate, it was $10 per person. They did comp us once we brought this to our attention , but we had to pay $17 per day for 3 days in order to get the comp. “Staff was very helpful and friendly. Early check in was allowed seamlessly, zero issues. Room was tidied perfectly, and amenities including those in the room & complementary breakfast were great. Note; I booked the double queen suite, and I definitely recommend it; pretty much anything you could want in there & more. Definitely didn't make use of the dishwasher, and hardly used the full kitchen setup as a whole however it was a very nice inclusion, very nice shower also. Would definitely stay...

“Only stay at this property as a last resort. One or two staff members attempted to be helpful and most were friendly, but they are set up to fail given the horrible conditions of the rooms. Hot, hunid. AC that can't drop the temp below 74. Shirts come out of the closet damp. 3 nights stayed and never received housekeeping, other than the day I specifically asked the desk clerk to have them come replace the towels on the floor used to mop up the water due to the shower door gaps. Just terrible....

“The employee who was working in the breakfast area was very attentive. She noticed that I was packing my oatmeal to go because I’m diabetic and can only eat at certain times; So she quickly provided me with what I needed without even asking her.”

“The stay was nice and the bed and room were comfy and beautiful but the only complaints I have was this 1. Our room was not cleaned or had fresh towels our entire 3 day stay and I called and asked multiple times each day and arrived to our bed not made and the towels on the floor 2. Our phone in our room didn’t work and I asked to have it replaced and was also ignored 3. It would be a lot better to have a pool or spa room for a 4 star hotel 4.
