“This was an interesting stay. We prefer to avoid run-of-the-mill hotels, and this one is definitely not part of a big chain. It's decor is dated, and not luxurious, but comfortable. They have flyers giving the history of the building, the architect and it's troubled restoration. The balcony was really nice in the evening. We liked the location because it wasn't right downtown, but a few blocks away. ”

“Staff was wonderful. Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Everything was clean and up to date. Room and bathroom were spacious. Bed was a little bit firm for us but definitely would stay again.”

“Hooters and Burger King are within walking distance for food. Our room still had trash and an unswept floor. The king size bed was on a bed frame but also had 2x4’s holding it up. The toilet felt like it was falling out of the floor and the flush lever was bone and had to be messed with to flush. Could use a make over or upgrade for sure. ”
