“Abermain was a fantastic hotel. Great location to be close to the wineries in Pokolbin and Lovedale. Room was clean and it’s situated in a hotel that is 115 years old. We were worried about the shared bathroom but it was totally fine. The bar food looked great, even though we didn’t indulge after a day at the wineries. Would definitely come back to the Abermain. ”

“The checkin process was really friendly and fast. Our room was clean and charming. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was delicious - it's a popular spot!! We then had a few drinks in the bar and loved that it was a real country pub and everyone was up for a chat and a laugh. We're booking to come back with friends - we loved it.”

“The room was clean and comfortable, cool in very hot weather, liked the pool. It could be improved by some plates, bowls and cutlery to go with the microwave and toaster - if they were there, I couldn’t find them. ”

“Absolutely beautiful accommodation! It appeared that there were only a few rooms which made it very quiet. The property is was gorgeous, rooms were clean, spacious with everything we needed. It gave a very Tuscan style with beautiful views and kangaroos around. It was about a 2 min drive to Hunter valley gardens and Harrigans pub, making it a great location. I would definitely stay here again! ”

“We had an overnight stay at Pippi’s after being at Port Macquarie for the day and geez I must say for hotel/pub accommodation this place was just great. The check in procedure was so swift with the lady assisting just superb and so friendly. She personally escorted out to the stairway and pointed us to our room which was very helpful.
