“Great breakfast. Clean nice rooms. Friendly staff. Reasonable rates.”

“Interior is old and worn, not enough employees to clean the rooms and work the breakfast area. Would not stay here again.”

“The amenity we used was the dog run, which we love. There was a time when it was hard to get into it because of the snow or vehicles in front of it, but they no longer allow vehicles to park there. There has been times when the grass has been too long, which makes it hard to scoop poop. But on this visit it was wonderful”

“The room was clean, comfortable and roomy. My wife works for one of the brands of hotels in the area. The Crystal Star Inn provided us with a very nice stay, close to the Edmonton Airport, for a better rate than the employee discount at her brand. We will be back again. ”

“All the front desk staff were excellent. I stayed with my dog, and our room was clean and quiet. Had dinner one night from the restaurant and it was good, and so convenient. Would stay here again if in the area. ”

“Didn’t use the hot tub”

“First of all there is no pool or hot tub, like it is there physically, but i was told its too expensive and they will not be filling it for use ever again. Maybe if it was advertised the place would have more occupancy.”

“Property is older and slightly run down. Rooms were mostly clean but could use a deep clean. ”

“Hotel was not as described. Parking is expensive and not included. Staff in the night was rude and would not provide any extra bedding due to being “short staffed”. ”

“Our subpar experience started right at check-in when we were ignored by the front desk agent. The valet acknowledged us twice and after the second time, went to find a different front desk agent (who started our check in and then was pushed out of the way by the agent who ignored us). No one answered the room service call so we went down and ordered to go from the restaurant and took it up to our room on our own. On our second evening, I asked front desk to please send up extra towels because...
