“The staff were genuinely excellent—friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with anything I needed. They were kind to accommodate my request for a late checkout when I was running late. The room itself was spotless and well-maintained, which immediately put me at ease. Housekeeping clearly does a great job here, and everything felt fresh and comfortable throughout my stay. “There was only one member of staff there over our 2 day stay & she was really nice and helpful (she seemed to be covering reception, housekeeping & kitchen). Got to say all the public areas could do with a good hoover and the skylight in our room was covered in green algae. Our room was clean (apart from the skylights) but small. Breakfast was really poor for the price we paid. Hotel in general needs a good update as has loads of potential.”

“Bathroom was clean, though pillows had make-up stains on and the heating was only turned on when we arrive so took a while to warm up. Staff friendly when we arrived. it is above a pretty noisy pub with inside steps from the pub or a fire escape style staircase from outside. Could hear a couple having an arguemnt on the street below as well. All in all, convenient if needing to be in area but not one if you need somewhere a bit more accessible or quiet.”
