“Its a great quiet and serene place to escape to, less than 2 hours from DC. It happened to be dog friendly which was perfect for our needs. Many wineries and restaurants nearby. Onsite dining was excellent for dinner and breakfast.”

We particularly enjoyed sitting on the patio and looking out at the view with the mountains, the excellent breakfast, the friendly staff, and the charming cottage room with a real antique feel in spite of the necessary bathroom addition and very comfortable bed.”

“We were traveling through on vacation and enjoyed our stay at this Motel 6. Our room - probably the whole motel - had recently been renovated, so everything was very clean, although a bit sparing. Microwave and refrigerator both worked, staff were very nice, safe/quiet area, and we enjoyed the garden as well.”

“The hotel was very conveniently located right off the highway. However, the room was not as clean as it could have been. They was sticky things on the wall next to the bed. The bedspread on the bed closest to the door had brown stains on the white spread. The outside of our room, which was around the back was dirty and not well maintained. The cost was good. The breakfast buffet was excellent and just about made up fir the uncleanliness of tge room.”

“This hotel is centrally located for all that we wanted to do, between hiking trails off Skyline Drive to antiquing at the multitude of antique malls and shops in the area. The hotel has been consistently clean, quiet and in very good condition over the several years we have been visiting the area.
