Jo,Pete and Sally made us feel so welcome from greeting us on our arrival to organising a lovely breakfast! The location has stunning views over the surrounding countryside with the mountains framing the picture ! Beautiful!”

“Beautiful room with great view of the lake, church and southern alps at Lake Tepako. Very modern, well furnished, and warm for our winter stay. Very close to cafes and restaurants. We stayed two nights for our visit and Heli hike to Mt Cook. Would definitely stay again.”

“Classico grand hotel, in posizione strategica all'inizio dei principali trail del parco. Per quello che costa però la camera non è niente di speciale, il parcheggio è sproporzionatamente piccolo per gli ospiti, il personale di reception e sala alla colazione con cui abbiamo avuto a che fare era giovane e/o inesperto... Ma in un posto così vivi di rendita...”

“Incredible place on the stunning Lake Pukaki with views directly across the lake to Aoraki/Mt Cook. Sunrise and sunset just stunning. We licked out with the weather. The night sky experience was fantastic. Expensive, meals included, and worth every cent.”

“Was there in the beginning of August and had no running water because the pipes were frozen. I slept at the small bed in the living room because the bedroom had no heater and you couldn‘t sleep in there.”

“The rooms are spacious and furnished perfectly for explorers. My room also had a lovely view of the mountains. I especially appreciated the desk and the ample drawer space for storage. The small kitchenette was also very useful, as dining options are limited during the winter. It’s well suited for preparing breakfast or other simple meals, though not for cooking large dinners. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay.”
