“This listing was just as advertised! Absolutely a stunning location, so peaceful and cozy. Thomas was wonderful to communicate with. He was very prompt in responses and understanding! Although we were there for a family funeral and didn’t spend a lot of time at the cabin I would definitely go back. It was very clean, and had plenty of room for our girl to roam after a long car ride. It’s centrally located also! The funeral and extended family were located in Stuart and the Meadows of Dan stores...

“The Oakdale Inn is our favorite place to stay while in southern Virginia. The Inn is wonderful, the rooms comfortable, the breakfast is very enjoyable, and the location is very convenient to anything that you're doing in the area. “I'm not sure where my first review went. The picture of the rental is accurate however it does not depict a mattress that pretty much is on the floor. The floor is very wavy making you feel unsteady. The couch was also low and hard as a rock. The smith river behind the house is barely visibleThe worst part is the entry. Nowhere does it mention there are 18 steep steps to entry. The apt building is surrounded by a huge green construction dumpster, a church located in a modular house and active...
