“The bed was very uncomfortable and the ac (which I had to trouble shoot to get it working) was so loud we had to turn the tv up so much it probably disturbed the neighbors. The tv flickered on and off. Pool was closed in mid May. We are not picky folks by any means but Hampton Inns have historically been a lot better stays.”

“The Oakdale Inn is our favorite place to stay while in southern Virginia. The Inn is wonderful, the rooms comfortable, the breakfast is very enjoyable, and the location is very convenient to anything that you're doing in the area. The Innkeeper (Erin) is a fantastic and helpful aspect of your experience, too. Highly recommended!!”

“We stayed here just passing through. The beds were clean, though there were small cigarette burns on some of the sheets. The rooms were secure and the premises quiet on the Friday night we stayed. We rented 2 rooms and one of them appeared to have mildew on the vent in the bathroom. One of the rooms we initially got did not have a properly flushing toilet and was missing a light bulb. “Front desk was helpful during check in. The property was safe and the bed was clean. Shower and bathroom were not in good condition. Our room door required effort to fully close and lock. The front doors of hotel were not operable (you had to manually slide them open and closed).”
