“I love staying at this hotel; it is comfortable, always organized, and clean. The staff is very cordial and friendly, always willing to help. The breakfast is excellent and comprehensive, and it is a quiet place.”

“The property itself was not the best. The parking lot needed some maintenance. The other issue was the shabby, put-together way that maintenance was done around the property. The vending machines were not to be found where the signs showed Ice/Vending Machine. Now to the room. Three light bulbs were missing from the lamps. One of the drawers on the dresser was broken. There were rust stains in and around the shower/tub. However, the location was perfect for restaurants and the historic downtown...

“We loved our rooms. I was worried because of the previous reviews I had read. But its in the perfect location. The beds were super comfy and rooms clean and the front desk receptionist was very friendly and helpful! The price was also very reasonable! I'll definitely stay again when we are back in that area!”

“Older community but rooms have been upgraded. The layout of the room was odd. The bathroom vanity is outside the bathroom. It is right where you walk in to the room. Pool area had no lights or had none on, even though they are open until 10. The parking lot is right outside the room window, which we had people out talking after 1am and woke us up. But the property wasn’t horrible. But for almost $170 for less than 24 hrs, I expected more.”

“TLDR: Great desk clerks, old small rooms. Uncomfortable bed. Breakfast was nothing to write home about. We needed a place to stay while visiting family for a few days.There were 3 adults sharing one room. The front desk clerk on arrival was super welcoming and friendly. We got one of the rooms with a kitchenette, king bed, and pullout couch. Upon entering our room it didn’t smell super clean but it’s an older hotel so I chalked it up to that. “Very disappointed for a La Quinta by Wyndham. The property needs a complete overhaul. The front looks like it hasn’t been maintained for a while. The room was clean enough to feel comfortable to sleep overnight but it’s time for a rehab budget. The floor in the elevator was gross and the safety handles were missing. Side door entry doesn't work. There were live beetles in the lobby. The front desk staff was super friendly though. This property should be under $100 for the condition that it is...

Staying so close to the construction wasn't great, but running the fan all night was helpful. We were pleased with the price and the hotel. There weren't any homeless people nearby.
