Hotel a Mertens

“The motel's back side (which has rooms) is facing a truck stop so you hear them refueling, as well as coming and going all the time. The carpet was sticky, the beds were hard and they had no comforters only a scratchy blanket. Very thin walls so you heard toilets flushing and bathrooms were very small”

“Where do I start. If you ever wanted to know what MOTELS were like when your parents traveled in the 70's, just stay here one night and you will know. This is a two story motel with NO elevator! The carpeted stairs can tell some stories I'm sure. The room was very out dated but appeared clean because the new coat of white paint. “Nice room, comfy bed”

“Great location! Places to eat, places to shop, and a Buc-ee’s near-by!”

“Rooms were clean and staff was nice. Our issue was we payed cash and our card was also charged. When I called to let them know I was informed they were already aware and the manager was reimbursing our card. That was Saturday. I have them through the holiday and still no money has been returned as of Wednesday night. I have tried calling hotel several times and I am not getting any answer or the line will be disconnected at times. Definitely will be aware next time we go through this area.”

“Everything waa really nice and clean. Hotel wasn't even half full. Breakfast was good, nice variety. My only complaint was the mattress on the bed. It was not comfortable at all. We didn't get a good night's rest. Otherwise, everything was perfect for our one night stay. ”

“Nice clean room, comfortable bed, great shower, and nice big refrigerator. The only thing to improve on would be their breakfast selection. Great place to stay! The staff is very friendly and accommodating.”

“The floors were so dirty they turned your socks and feet black, took forever for the water to get hot. The website says it has breakfast but there is none. The only thing good was the ac worked good.”
