“This was a lovely place to stay for a wedding related trip to Rogersville. It is conveniently located and has wonderful, historic charm. Our room “The Browns” was clean and very comfortable. The check in and check out procedure was easy and the Desk Clerk was very kind and accommodating. I highly recommend a stay here!”

“The room was very nasty. Towels had stains on them. The sheets also had stains on them. I only booked one and left in the middle of the night because i couldn't go to sleep becuase of how nasty and dirty the rooms was. I will never stay here again. Dusty 4 inches thick everywhere. Mold growing on walls under the counter. The lobby looked amazing and super clean. The rooms were not. ”

“Honestly it’s a dump. I lived in this town for 20 years and had to go back recently for a short visit. The bathroom shower was awful, the shower head needed replacement the sink had a big gap against the wall, the bathroom fan was super loud, the air conditioner was also super noisy AND they made me pay a $100 deposit when we checked in for damages in the event we broke anything. LOL ”

“The “renovation” is poor. Curling wallpaper, old dirty looking carpet and dark elevators. The HVAC will keep you awake and everything happening in the hall sounds to be through a megaphone .. startling noisey.”

“The hotel was small. It has a nice pool and hot tub. The breakfast was not so good. It has minimal breakfast selections. The air conditioner in the room was ok. 2nd floor ice maker and pop machine were broken. It was clean and they were trying to fix some stuff up.”

“Great coffee, cookies, and breakfast! Room are clean, beds are comfy. The staff are sweet and very helpful. Pool was nice too.”

“The shower definitely needs a safety bar on the side wall. The tub bottom was very slick and hard to stand on. I almost fell 3 times during my shower.”

“First at check in You have to use telephone to even check in, the lady was rude. Guess what, no ice or washing facilities. The room was really thread bare, and just rough. I booked for 2 days, however decided to leave in the afternoon before the second night. I saw a roach, I was done. locked lobby, no way in. So I left, couldn't properly check out. This place is a dump. Pay $40 more, stay at the quality inn.”

“The staff was great and check-in was a breeze. The room was large and serviceable, but there were stains in the carpet, the bed covering, and one of the large towels. The room was mostly clean, though, and had no ill smell…just well-used and a bit out-dated. The treadmill in the fitness center was in disrepair and there were multiple boxes of AC units being stored in there. The hospitality made this a 4/5, otherwise it was a 3/5.”

“Breakfast: 5 stars. They have a good breakfast bar. Breakfast is from 6:30 am - 10 am but after 9:15 they stop refilling the breakfast bar. Not much to choose from if you come late. Cleanliness: 2 stars. We stayed in a non-smoking room but the lingering odor of lit cigarette was present and too strong for us to handle.”

“Parking sucked due to having other fuests that had big vehicles. Another iss is room service, they showed up early morning before we got up and never came back. We had to go ask for towels. ”
