As we tried to follow the unhelpful directions to room 230 offered by an impatient clerk, we approached a crumbling cement stairwell where a huge pile of vomit was gathering flies. A foot away, a broken shopping cart filled with garbage, including a hauntingly broken infant carseat, blocked the passage. The Motel is 5 minute driving from the town center of North Adam. There is a restaurant nearby, or you need the car to reach the town centre. ”

We were only there one night but it was a very nice, reasonably priced by the night instead of 2-3 night mandatory we had seen. Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming and settling in was easy with parking right in front of our unit and straight in with no stairs or hallways to wrangle luggage through. “Owner very welcoming at check in, polite and pleasant. Room was a bit small, but spotless. Nicely decorated, interesting desk. Bed comfortable. Fridge, microwave and coffee maker in room. A/C worked well , as did shower. Continental breakfast was pre-packaged pastries, but there was fresh fruit, cereal and a good selection of items to toast. A lovely little outdoor patio was accessible for breakfast. All in all a nice little motel.”
