“Did not like checking in as there was no one anywhere around. I walked around to look for someone & eventually called out & someone appears. It was a bit unsettling traveling by myself to come to an empty, less than welcoming hotel. Minor detail, but like I said it was desolate. I was uncomfortable with the location as well as the hotel is next to a car lot. No restaurants near by or any amenities…had to find my way into Kingston at night to get a cup of coffee. “The lodge was amazing. The rooms were huge and very very spacious, including the bathrooms. Extremely clean and the mattress and pillows were the most comfortable ones I’ve ever come across in a hotel room. The staff was very friendly and warm. Unfortunately they were shutting down for business and I was apparently the last guest to checkout! I wish they’d keep it running. I’d go back to the catskills just to stay there!”

“Our stay was perfect and we booked again for another trip next month. I was thrilled to see a larger fridge! Wonderful for packing coolers on hot August days! The room was super clean and it was wonderful coming back to a perfectly made bed. Check-in was smooth and friendly, with a call to check on us as we were running late. We did not have a chance to use the pool but it certainly looked inviting!”
