Hotel vicino a Monument Avenue - Richmond

“Jeffrey was the best host. This is a beautiful property which is obviously lovingly maintained. The building is so pretty and has multiple sitting areas outside of your room (which was also great). I have dietary restrictions and Jeffrey and others made sure to have snacks for me to enjoy during the wonderful nightly happy hours and delicious options for breakfast. This area was also fun to explore and Jeffrey gave us very good pointers on where to go.”

“Location was good but the hotel (room) could use some updating (mold spots on the ceiling, sunken in mattress, heavily stained counter, dirty fridge). Overall the room was nice but definitely wouldn’t be back due to the issues noted.”

“This is a charming historic hotel with a lot of personality and a great location for walking everywhere. The room was clean and unusually spacious. The entire staff from front desk to the parking valet, were always courteous and accommodating. The only negative were the fogged cobwebby windows that are in need of serious cleaning which is hampered by the fixed interior storm window. We enjoyed a convenient Happy Hour at the attached bar which is a beautiful space. We totally enjoyed our 2 nights...

“Sinceramente, ci aspettavamo meglio da un Hotel della catena Holiday Inn express. Il bagno non era pulito come si deve e la colazione non era all’altezza di un Holiday express. Siamo arrivati con 30 minuti di anticipo rispetto all’orario del check-in e nonostante l’hotel fosse vuoto, c’è stato detto che dovevamo ritornare mezz’ora dopo.”

“Everything was excellent. Breakfast was varied and fresh. Social hour on Wed with complimentary wine and appetizers was a pleasant addition to our stay. Very clean room and quiet parking is easily accessible but $25 a night. Would stay here again. It’s downtown”

“The hotel has no working elevator. I was offered a room on the fourth floor with no working elevators. They wouldn’t even help you carry the luggage to the room. After me making much fuss. They finally offered me a room on the first floor which I took since I could not climb 4 floors of stairs. I had a king size bed. “Property is located north of center city in a neighborhood of mostly small businesses. Building and grounds look clean from the outside. Easy access from 301. Room was a good size with new beds, fridge, micro and TV. Walls were noticeably dirty and need fresh paint. No clothes rod or hooks. Tiny bath was sub-standard with mis-matched & patched ceramic tile. No electric outlets in the bathroom. Mirror was dirty. Tiny sink top had numerous cigarette burns and stains. Tiny 36 x 36 stall...
