Hotel a Nanjemoy

“breakfast was limited to standard scrambled eggs and scary looking sausage links. Yogurt, fresh fruit, muffins and cereal looked to be your best options. Check in dude gave me a hard time about the type of room I had selected via Expedia. Room was clean but very dated. would not stay there again if my travels had me in this area”

“tv never had signal so we could not watch anything. Thankfully we had ipad Stayed on 2nd floor and kids ran up and down hallways well into the night keeping noise!!!!”

“I never leave negative reviews and overall we loved the hotel. Beware, however, the hotel charged me a balance remaining between them and Expedia stating I needed to seek a refund from Expedia for them underpaying my stay. I paid the same price on Expedia as the advertised hotel rate. I was also charged for parking on property and did not. I’ve left messages since my stay for the GM and have not heard back him.”

“The property is undergoing significant renovations. They do not disclose this until you get there. This should be disclosed before the guests arrive. Things are kind of a mess. And the whole place smells like a construction zone. Normally, has been a nice place when they have their stuff together. Personally, I believe the place should be closed until the renovations are complete. But if not, let guests know what is going on in advance.”

“The room had a smell of mildew coming from the bathroom. There was a nice size whole in the wall, and the shower curtain was not clean. The sink in the bathroom was chip in several places. That room need to be remodel and there is water from the ice machine on the floor which can cause a bad accident. The pool is not open, and it look a mess in the back where the pool is. The towels in the room some was not clean. The staff was polite”

She went above and beyond to help us when our reservation was canceled even after we were checked in.... it was a nightmare, but she helped us immensely. I will recommend The Spark to anyone traveling in Waldorf! We will also be back in the future.”
