“I visited in the off season, but the hotel is lovely. If you're used to staying in the cookie cutter hotels that all look the same, this hotel will surprise you. It's all furnished with antiques. There's so much charm and personality here. It's delightful! Don't hesitate to come here thinking the hurricane has everything closed. Lake Lure is very near "full pool" now. The town is open for business and could use your support. The staff helped me out with tips on local events and attractions. Go...

“The only issue I had was that every time I wanted to use the wifi I had to sign in again. They were trying to sell me a rewards plan and in order to use the wifi I had to reject the offer. Every day! A new low in marketing. ”

“The facility was beautiful. Great breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Everything was super clean. The AC in the room was a little noisy, I could hear people talking from outside, having earplugs to sleep was helpful. The place feels more like a retreat. Besides the noise, it felt peaceful. No TV in the bedroom. ”
