“Personal very nice but the property needs attention, by entrance you can see the roof lights broken, ugly garden in front, when you enter to the lobby smells like farm house ( weird smell) the curtains bar in the shower with lot of oxidation, the two water dispensers in lobby looks dirty and not drinkable, the only nice experience was with the staff attention, I know is low budget staying place, but there’s a lot of hotels close by with better conditions, why you guys can’t be same or better? In...

“We reserved an Executive room through expedia and paid for that, but we were checked in to a small basic room. We were told it was expedias fault. AC makes a big loude noise , so was disturbing sleeping, a small shampoo tube, but was half empty, carpet felt sticky and dirty.”

“This hotel was a welcome place to stay for a quick overnight trip. The bed was comfortable, the AC cool and quiet, and I enjoyed the bench seat in the shower. There were lots of TV choices with Direct TV. I met the owner, Harry, at breakfast. He was very friendly and accommodating. I had stayed at this hotel with the previous owner, and it was apparent that many upgrades were made. I would recommend this hotel for all travelers.”

“Very clean room, SUPER comfortable bed w/white linens and a comforter that doesn't hide stains (so you know it's clean!) The decor is a tad dated but that's me being nitpicky. The staff was very nice, the poor woman working the front desk had to deal with a slew of people checking in all at one time and she handled it graciously and quickly. I did not check out the pool nor the breakfast.”

“Nice and close to balloon fest”

“The check-in staff was off-putting, uninterested, and ignored my presence at check-in. They have some interesting charges/deposits for lost keys and/or potential liabilities, but I am not 100% knowledgeable on Iowa laws, so they make be acceptable but are definitely not advertised prior to booking. Also, the pool is closed, which they only identify upon check-in, and had I known, I may have stayed at another local establishment.”

“So I dont know if it was Expedia or what, but I paid around 330 or 350 for 2 nights at this hotel for my family and I. The pictures and it had 4.5 stars with the reviews I had seen. Well maybe I should have done more digging but the hotel, for what I paid was not worth it. The pool and hot tub didnt look like it was cleaned for a while. It had green mold even in some places on the floor. The pool was foggy and the hot tub was even worse with the fog. It is not safe to swim in that alone....

“Room was not cleaned. Bathroom toilet had feces on the seat, trash can had dirty diapers still in it. The inside of the toilet was cover with ngats. The bed sheets had stains as well as the pillow cases. I don't not recommend.”
