Hotel a North Stradbroke Island

“Room was clean but a bit dated. The staff were so lovely at check in and check out. The room cleaners always said good morning and tidied up our room each day. It was nice to visit during the Easter break as there were lots of families with kids also enjoying the hotel and its facilities but it also wasn't over crowded. I would stay here again. “The Hotel cleaners were very pathetic. The rooms were not cleaned properly and even Toilet papers and coffee and sugar were not supplied. Very poor management. Would never recommend anyone to consider this hotel in the near future. ”

“Such a beautiful place to stay on the mountain. Brought back memories of staying in B&B's in Scotland. Great spot for a weekend away to enjoy all the mountain has to offer.”

“Rude staff wouldnt let me check in after 8 oclock had to sleep in the lobby as there was no after hours contact details and then at 7am the next daywhen reception opened told me i had to wait till 2 pm that day to check in even though my booking was for the night before. Couldnt understnd basic english.”

“A centrally located decent accomodation option. The lobby areas felt quite dated, but the rooms were more modern. The outdoor lagoon style pool was great, though it was a shame the children's pool was closed whilst we were there. Also good to have the indoor pool as another option. Getting to the car park from reception was a pain, as you had to exit the property and drive around the block - would suggest making the entrance two-way to save this. ”

“Staff support terrible communication. Website said one thing but staff say another. I seek clarification and told oh yeah that's not updated. Our hrs menus etc changed. We made bookings and paid for it online too be told that's not available anymore. what was supposed to be a romantic weekend away for a engagement proposal was a complicated disaster.we were planning on having our wedding here but after our experience we will be looking elsewhere ”

“Clean room, kids friendly atmosphere, but restaurants ( main and pizza one) still not good. Poor choice of kids menu, everything is very oily and not really for kids. We are here 5th time and it’s not that you are expecting in such big resort. Breakfast buffet is big, but not really interesting. Also the restaurant next to the water, which used to be good still closed. The only good one for us was Japanese restaurant, but it’s working not all week.”

“Location is excellent. Right next to Ligan hospital, medical suits. We had a nice dinner at the hotel. There was no traffic noise. The hotel is located on a busy intersection. The air con was very quite. The best pillow i have slept on in a hotel for a long time”

“The room was very clean and big enough with a decent sized bed, small sink and bar fridge, sofa, coffee table and bathroom. The breakfast box was handy too with cereal, milk, juice and mini Carmen bars. Staff was very helpful with holding our bags and printing our documents. ”
