Hotel a Oak Bowery

“Staff friendly, property was clean, but the bathroom could have been cleaner there was urine on the side at the base of the toilet.”

“The hotel is in a convenient location with plenty of food options. The hotel itself was clean and well kept however its supposed to be a smoke free facility but our floor and the elevator was very smoked out. The showers throughout the hotel were not relished with shower gel, shampoo or conditioner however they did offer mini bar soaps. Just make sure to pack whatever essential you need dont rely on the hotel.”

“Average room no amenities”

“Carpet in the room was so dirty! My socks were black on the bottom after walking around in them. Yuck.”

“The hotel is a former days in under renovation. A few shady characters and broken down cars were on the property and most of it appears to be remodel related. The coffee was good and the young man behind the counter was exceptional. Our first room had the ceiling falling down in the sink so we moved. Room two was much better and was clean. The breakfast is cereal with a few honey buns and coffee.”

“Breakfast could have been better stayed 3 days each day there was only 2 egg patties 2 sausage and 1 dry biscuit and the biscuit gravy was so empty you couldn’t even get a scoop the waffles were good coffee was very good would have liked to have water to drink”

“Modern hotel and great location. Clean comfy rooms. Great coffee in the room and coffee shop on site. On site bar and restaurant with great food drinks and atmosphere.”

“Very nice hotel. The bed was a little softer than we are used to. Breakfast was ok. I only ate the cinnamon rolls. They’re always good.”

“The entire hotel was immaculate. It smelled great as soon as we walked in. The room was large, which was perfect for our crew of four. The beds were comfortable and the A/C went down low. If we were ever in the area again, I’d definitely stay here again.”

“The front desk stuff was great, but the hotel was rather dingy and air-conditioning only worked in the sitting room and did not reach the bedroom. Bathrooms were kind of dirty. Rooms were very bright at night.”

“You will not regret staying here. I was amazed with how beautiful the B&B was as well as the impeccable customer service by the owners. 100% recommend to stay here if you are deciding where to stay in Opelika. Also, the owner makes breakfast and it is delicious and complimentary with your stay.”

“The property was well maintained and clean. Breakfast was good. Was not informed about the additional charge on my bill about incidentals when I checked in. Was not given a print copy of the bill nor asked if I would like an email of the bill.”

“The staff was very friendly, breakfast and pool were great. Only issue was the tub was very worn or stained but the water pressure was fantastic!”
