“The whole building is renovated and everything is very modern and new. The continental breakfast was clean with a nice variety. Staff were very friendly and we enjoyed how close it is to a lot of restaurants and shopping. The room had everything we needed, however it would have been nice to have a couple of glasses or cups for drinks. They only had paper coffee cups and we had to ask for an ice bucket. “The room was fine; however, the property is 'sketchy'. I can only hope that properties like Shenstone can improve and offer medium priced accomodation in an area that badly needs it. With non-refunable reservations, I gave up my $$, to stay in a place that was cleaner.”

“The hotel reeka of tradition and old time comforts. But the bed was modern superfoam. Many like this, I detest timing a mattress. I didn't ask, maybe there's a choice of mattress types... “We did not enjoy our staf here. The young guy working on the front desk was rude abd not accommodating. We are senior citizens. We didnt know there is no elevator in the hotel. The guy on the desk said we would gave to pay an extra $10.00 per night for a room on the main floor. We're on a fixed budget.
