“The room was very nice - large and well appointed. The bed was really comfortable. We had a lovely continental breakfast in the morning and were able to sit in the dining room overlooking the bay. Staff was excellent. My only concern was with poor lighting in the parking lot and I did pass that along in the morning. “Sadly, the Ben Miller is outdated and really needing a makeover. Straight from the outset, the front lobby was shabby (with furniture that was seriously in need of a change), the dining area resembled something out of a lodge in the Poconos in the 60's/70's (certainly not fine dining) with ample evidence of roof leaks and the view to the river having debris quite visible. Our room, while clean, showed evidence of much wear and tear; what stuck in our minds was the rust visible on the ceiling...
