“We had a lovely stay!!!! The room was spotless, beautifully decorated with all.the amenities and added extras you could wish for!! The pub itself was lovely - clean with friendly, helpful and attentive staff. Two nice outdoor seating areas, and the beer garden itself was fully enclosed - great for dogs and kids. Hotel and pub were dog friendly. Breakfast was lovely with a good choice of hot and cold offerings! Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again!”

“Didnt view the area so cannot comment but the host lesley was very accommodating to me for early check in and very hospitable. Would stay again. Breakfast was nice. Room was good with own ensuite that was clean with little toiletries if needed to use. ”

“Great short stay. Our room oozed character and history, enhanced by top quality fittings. Bed was enormous and super comfy. Breakfast was absolutely spot on. Complimentary bottles(!) of gin and whisky and the posh shower toiletries topped it all off.”

“We loved the features throughout the building. The beams, low ceilings, uneven floors...really kept the character of the building. Rooms were nice albeit a bit strange having the shower in the room and not in the ensuite but good use if available space given grade 2 listed building regulations.”

“Enjoyable food and ambiance. Pleasant location by river and interesting artifacts connected to the old mill. Quiet location for overnight accommodation away from the main building. Only slight problem was the pebbled area which made wheeling luggage a bit difficult.”
