Inn a Parco Limefitt

“Regrettably our room number 6. Did not smell nice. It had the smell of old wet trainers. We did mention it and a room diffuser was turned on. Some of the fixtures and fitting were falling apart. The shower was head was not appropriate for the size of the shower causing flooding. The staff were lovely and theroom was clean.”

“Un albergo in posizione isolata, ma vicinissimo a Keswick. Camera molto comoda, pulita con ottimo letto. Colazione super, molto curata. Personale attento e gentile. Abbiamo anche cenato la sera: ristorante sopra le attese, cucina di territorio, raffinata e buona. Ci torneremo senz’altro alla prima occasione. Ambiente curato, pulito e tipico di una Inn di alto livello.”

“Decent place to stay and good value for money so would recommend. No car parking which is made clear so no argument with that, however it’s worth being aware that Ambleside is busy so I ended up parking some distance away. Only negative would be the 8am breakfast time, as it was too late, so had to miss out both days. Annoyingly, the Ambleside in which is 100m away and owned by the same group is 7.30am which would have worked. Overall a decent place though”

“The reason I haven’t scored 5 is that Expedia sold us a room that had issues with noise / cooking smells as it’s above the kitchen and is noisey and smelly when the staff are cooking. We stayed in a room named Helvellyn and Expedia didn’t state any issues with any rooms. If we had booked direct with the queens head it details the room helvellyn as having issues with noise etc due to it’s proximity to the kitchen. I think Expedia have been misleading not detailing the facts about that particular...

“A well located inn for visiting central Bowness-on-Windermere. Plenty of parking options around.”
