“We stayed overnight for my husband’s birthday. Spa treatments were great for each of us and we made use of the pool and jacuzzi for an extra charge. The meal in the Blok was exquisite!! “We had a lovely couple of nights at the Bear Hotel. Room was well appointed and spotlessly clean. Only very slight negative on room, was that on our first night, we could only get luke-warm water from the shower. Ate in the restaurant and meal was good quality overall. Service in restaurant was a little slow and lacking some attention to detail but pleasant all the same. Will happily return to stay here again, and plan to do so.”

"A lovely hotel where you can feel the ancient atmosphere but where the rooms are perfect and fully refurbished. I found the staff extremely professional and polite. The position is perfect, walking distance to the main attractions. The railway station is not too far neither and I walked with my suitcase without issues. It will certainly be my first choice for my next trip to Cardiff."
