“This was the worst stay I have ever had at a Holiday Inn, by far. We are usually very happy with all Holiday Inns. I quickly contacted Expedia and they called the hotel within minutes to resolve the issue. However, even though I was standing in the lobby at the counter, the clerk put Expedia on hold and helped other guests making me and Expedia wait 25 minutes before solving the issue which I believe was an error on the hotels end to begin with. “The historic aspects of the hotel are all present. I also really loved the location - right in the middle of everything. I had a standard room with two beds. The bathroom was a bit grungy. We had a bathtub but no plug to actually use it. The carpet in the room was pretty nasty - I would definitely not walk around barefoot. “We were welcomed in at the front desk and our room was all ready for us, clean and tidy. We had a good night’s sleep. There was a keurig coffee maker in the room, which was great as we are early risers. There was a great breakfast with a helpful and busy attendant. This hotel went the extra distance, placing Easter eggs around the lobby for guests to find… very sweet! We would definitely stay again if we were in the area! Thank you!”

“Unfortunately I did not have the same experience as others that I read before booking this hotel. We checked in late (around 10pm) and when we got to our room we quickly noticed that it was not very clean, the floors were sticky with random dust and garbage in the corners, the counters were sticky, the tub was kinda gross. The TV was not hooked up, in fact the cable box was just dangling from the table. However the beds looked clean so we checked for bugs and just decided to go to sleep and...

“The motel gave our room to someone else the second night of my stay. We woke up to someone trying to get into our room in the middle of the night. A very large picture was not secured to our wall, hanging over the bed. They said they would fix it and they never did. ”
